If it was not for the victim of the burglary charge he recieved probation for he would not have been in the system. The state wanted to let him go with a slap on the wrist. The victim had to fight to get the probation charge, which in turn is what led to the dna connection. Kudos to the victim, he wanted to make sure that Robert did not ever do this to anyone else and he got that wish. I am very familiar with this case.
